Sheria Mkononi is Kenya's first AI lawyer, designed to provide advanced legal services to clients in Kenya and beyond, especially to those who cannot afford legal services and do not understand English. The system is equipped with advanced technology capable of processing vast amounts of legal data in real-time, providing accurate legal advice within seconds, and handling complex legal cases with ease. It is designed to understand multiple languages, including Swahili, making it accessible to clients from different regions of Kenya and beyond. Additionally, its advanced technology enables it to provide a solid defense for even the most complex legal cases, making it an ideal choice for clients seeking reliable and efficient legal services.
Project Objectives
- Develop a user-friendly AI-powered legal platform that is accessible to clients who cannot afford legal services
- Provide a seamless legal service experience with accurate legal advice within seconds and handling complex legal cases with ease.
- Create an AI platform that can handle complex legal cases and understand multiple languages, including Swahili.
- Push the limits of AI technology in the legal field.
Project Challenge
The main challenge of this project is to ensure that the output of the AI-generated legal advice is accurate and reliable. Additionally, the input length of the legal cases must be considered, as longer legal cases may require more complex analysis and processing. However, with the upcoming release of OpenAI GPT-4, which is capable of handling input lengths of up to 32k+ words, this challenge can be overcome. Another challenge is to ensure that the AI-generated legal advice is understandable to clients who may not have a legal background or may not be proficient in English or Swahili.
